As I am passionate about the beauty of nature and how we can design our own magnificent piece of paradise within it, I'm deeply committed to creating exceptional and distinctive gardens that provide a refuge of calm and intimate beauty for each of my clients.

I'm continually expanding my knowledge of the latest plant introductions, design trends, eco-materials and water conservation efforts.  Traveling for inspiration and renewal, I'm always looking to discover that unusual design element that might spark an idea for a future garden.

Born in Marin County, raised in Palo Alto and a graduate of Santa Clara University, I am a California native very familiar with our climate and the plants that thrive within this Mediterranean environment.

My work in Garden Design began after my husband and I left our previous careers and relocated to the Monterey Peninsula in the mid 90's.  My focus on Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture took me back to school for intensive design studies as well as achieving my Master Gardener Certification.

Having worked on many landscape projects both large and small in the Monterey Bay area as well as San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, I fully understand the variety of our unique micro-climates and feel both privileged and joyful to be a Carmel resident and a Landscape Designer in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
